Creative Director/Writer - FREELANCE
New York, NY
We are looking for a freelance CD/writer who can drive the creative process of projects: proposals, meetings, theme rationales, videos, digital concepts and creative overlay for training programs. Must have ability to receive client input and summarize it into a creative design presentation or script.
Responsibilities:
Work with client’s objectives and goals for projects and develop strategic plan
Collaborate on creating content and upholding client expectations
Lead creative project team; graphics, editors, illustrators, and animators in executing concepts through to completion
Work within scope of budget and timeline provided by the executive producers

Digital Coordinator
The Digital Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to project manage, prepare, and execute digital tactics related to communication plans, training, or events.
The Digital Coordinator should have a familiarity with digital principles and best practices. This should include: basic knowledge of graphic, audio, and video formats; and understanding of website and application architecture; basic knowledge of HTML, and CSS styling.
For projects requiring custom development, coordinators support the project’s lead producer as liaison to the graphics and developer teams. Coordinators may create wireframes and production schedules as needed to guide projects.
Digital coordinators also use a suite of existing services and tools to facilitate meeting apps, e-blasts, text message campaigns, live audience polls, and more. This position may work closely with all BlueprintNYC departments and will execute multiple projects as needed.
This position reports to the Head of Digital. There is a large opportunity for growth and development inside the organization. We welcome people who are building their specialties in code, ui/ux, visual design, product development, animation, etc. Occasional travel is required.
Please Note: This role begins as Contract, with a possibility to go full time / Part-Time possible too.
Senior Developer
The Senior Developer’s primary responsibilities are to develop and maintain technical knowledge of BlueprintNYC’s proprietary communications app and tech stack, to code robust solutions, and to assist in managing staff or freelance developer talent to expand BlueprintNYC’s core product.
He/she will uphold the technical vision for the company and act as a primary technical voice for our team. After a period of working with vendors and freelancers we are beginning to bring digital production for our product in-house. This key role is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help build a team and good processes from scratch.
For a best-match with our existing products, candidates should have experience building large scale web applications with Javascript (React, React Native), GraphQL, SQL, and Golang. The ideal candidate also has experience with React Native applications, although this is not required.
This position will play a critical role in managing and growing new digital products for our portfolio. We employ a variety of applications and technologies to support live events, convention booths, and training experiences. Growing and maintaining our digital capabilities is a core part of our business strategy.
Looking to the future, the Lead Software Architect will work with key stakeholders to devise the product roadmap and new offerings, and will become a key strategic role for the business.

Strong understanding of development software development best-practices.
